Our Services

The Red Poppy Florist provides wedding and event floral services across the Southern Highlands, Illawarra and South Coast, subject to availability and individual event requirements.

Our services may include:

• Bridal bouquets and wedding party flowers.
• Wedding ceremony flowers and floral installations.
• Reception flowers and table arrangements.
• Floral styling for weddings and special events.
• Selected decorative styling pieces available for hire.
• Floral consultations and personalised quotations.

The precise scope of each booking will be outlined in the relevant quotation or written confirmation. Services or items not included in that documentation should not be assumed to be part of the booking.

Quotes & Pricing

Wedding flower quotations are personalised. Prices depend on the types and quantities of flowers requested, arrangement sizes, styling requirements, installation work, venue location and other event details.

Minimum Spend

Our published minimum spend for full wedding floral styling is $3,000 AUD. This service includes floral requirements for the bridal party, ceremony and reception.

We also cater for elopements and micro weddings in the Southern Highlands, which may have different requirements.

Personalised Quotations

Once you submit your wedding enquiry, our published process aims to provide a formal quotation by email within approximately 48 hours.

This is an indicative response timeframe, not a guarantee. Additional information may be needed before a quotation can be finalised.

Prices, inclusions and any applicable delivery, installation or hire costs should be checked against the quotation provided for your event.

Bookings & Payments

Submitting a website enquiry, requesting an appointment or receiving a quotation does not by itself guarantee availability for your wedding date.

Following the issue of a formal quotation, a 20% deposit is required to secure your wedding booking.

The remaining balance is due one month before your wedding date.

Please check your quotation or booking confirmation for payment instructions, the amounts payable and any event-specific conditions.

If any invoice or payment details appear incorrect, contact us before making payment.

Changes & Additional Items

We understand that wedding plans develop as your celebration approaches.

Additional floral arrangements and styling items may be requested up until one month before your wedding date, in line with our published booking information.

Additional items are subject to availability and may result in a revised quotation or additional charges.

Requests to remove items, reduce quantities, change the venue or move an event date should be discussed with us as early as possible. Any financial implications must be confirmed in writing.

Flowers, Colours & Seasonal Availability

Flowers are natural products and can vary in size, colour, shape, texture and appearance. Seasonal conditions and supplier availability may also affect particular varieties.

Inspiration photographs and portfolio images help communicate a preferred style, but identical replication may not always be possible.

Where a requested flower variety is unavailable, suitable alternatives may need to be discussed to achieve a similar overall design. Any material changes to an agreed floral concept should be communicated with the client.

The final arrangements should be consistent with the agreed scope of work, subject to applicable consumer rights.

Delivery, Setup & Installation

Delivery and installation arrangements depend on the location, venue conditions, access, event schedule and floral requirements.

Please provide accurate details about your venue, event date, ceremony start time and any known access restrictions.

Some installations may require coordination with your venue or other event suppliers. Additional labour, access or travel requirements should be addressed in your quotation or booking confirmation.

Any responsibilities for removal, collection or pack-down should also be confirmed as part of your event arrangements.

Styling Collection & Hire Items

Our Styling Collection may include vases, vessels, plinths, ceremony structures, candle holders, signage and other decorative items.

All hire enquiries are subject to item availability and confirmation of the event date, location and requirements.

Hire prices and any applicable delivery, collection, cleaning, security deposit or replacement arrangements must be set out in the relevant hire quotation or written agreement.

Clients should take reasonable care of any hired items and follow any handling or safety instructions provided with them.

Any charges relating to loss, damage or late return must be consistent with the agreed hire terms and applicable law.

Cancellations, Postponements & Refunds

If you need to cancel or postpone your wedding or event, please contact us in writing as soon as possible.

The treatment of deposits, payments, postponements, work already undertaken and any applicable refunds will depend on the agreed booking conditions, the circumstances of the cancellation and applicable Australian law.

Any specific cancellation fees, notice periods or postponement arrangements should be confirmed in your written booking agreement.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

To assist with the planning and delivery of your floral arrangements, please:
